I love GW and all, but...
Been playing for a while now, and its great, but I find 2 things distinctly lacking for a game of this type. The first is something everyone has been asking for, and Anet really seems to be dragging its feet on, and that is the trading system(or complete lack of it). In a game which has one of the major parts of it being drops and selling/buying of them, to not have something in place is frankly backwards. This should have been implemented a looooong time ago.
The other thing I wish they had was a template saver. How many times have you wished you could just hit a button and load your IWAY skills(), or for elementalists you could have one for each element. Or rangers could have their traps setup, their beastmaster setup. The list goes on and on, but you get the idea. Give me like 5 or 10 spots I could save my skills as a template so I can load them. After all, this game is all about the skill choices we make.
Anyways, just a couple things Ive been thinking about, that would make this game better. It still kicks ass, but honestly, we all want it to kick even more ass right?
PS. Gaile, if you are watching, tell them that auction houses are ok, even if WoW put them in game first. They just copied Ebay after all, right?

Maybe you should check out the suggestions forum. I really don't see the point to this thread.

*sigh* Auction changes (not necessarily a house) are coming. Think about it, in WoW you're limited by the number of people allowed in a specific server/realm, guildwars doesn't have that limitation (other than world region), so you could in theory have over 1000000 items for sale at one time. Some people have suggested breaking those items up into type, ie daggers, swords etc. So now you have say 50000 items of each type. Do you really want to scroll through a list looking for the specific item you want when the list has that many items in it? Hell, even 1000 items in the list is just a little bit overwhelming. To top it off, whatever method they come up with, can't be a ripoff of say ebay or the patent lawyers will swarm in full force. The change is coming, but how it will work or what it will look like is only known to the dev team right now (and maybe a few of the alpha/beta testers), let them come up with something good.
As for 'templates' they know we would like this ability, so I'm sure they plan to put it in at some point, but nothing as been announced in that regard.

You should post this in the Sardelic Sanitarium section.
If you love your GF, you dont just tell her about her flaws straight to her face. You drop them in conversation cleverly disguised so not to be insulting and at the same time descreet. Well, hinting your GF's flaws is like posting in the correct Forum Section.
PS. Gaile Gray does have an account, and her account does accept PM's, the same as all accounts...

to thin things out to a reasonable level would you support separate *blue*, *purplr*, *gold* merchants which would give a reasonable price for good junk(merchant fodder) that would never sell to a person but people would still try to auction?
think that might work?

I'll believe more sophisticated trade and increased storage are coming when we stop getting beat-around-the-bush comments about those issues, and start getting some explicit details on exactly WHAT the devs are considering, WHAT option suggestions (made by the players thus far) are completely infeasible, WHAT they've actually begun progress on, percentage of completion, some sort of timetable other than "it's coming"
Details don't have to be too specific - just something other than a "stfu about this already. You'll get it when you're old and gray!" type of answer. Right now, we haven't heard anything to suggest more storage or better trade systems are anything but still on this "to-do list". Sorry, but it's true. I doubt they've even started work on either of these.
At least we're getting whack-a-worm though.

I personally don't have a problem with repeating common interests, unless this forum is going to sticky each, or make a thread detailing the pressing topics which the community desires and hasn't yet been implemented, than players have the right, and duty to voice their interest in said addition.
It is also oppressive to corral community posts into a single thread, because personal opinions get blocked out by dozens of yay or nay posts, obscuring the imput of latter supporters. As long as it doesn't become some sort of epidemic spamming of the same topic, I think it is perfectly fine to reintroduce a previous topic. Expecially if said simular, previous post is already readily visible.
Or, for those who need a simple analogy, If one magazine posts an article, it doesn't restrict every other form of media from harping on the same topic, and doing so only stresses the topic more. More coverage = more recognition.

Remember at the end of the Great Northern Wall mission in Prophecies when you had to run from the Charr army? Imagine you had to fight them instead, and you get EVERY DAMNED MISSION so far in Kaineng City.
Vizunah Square was bad enough (whose bright idea was making this your first mainland mission? Especially with that idiotic gate system they've got going in Factions that prevents you from skipping it), and Tahnnakai Temple is even worse...
That's my problem with Factions.

it doesnt hurt to take some time and rethink your build
put down the skills and change attributes it can even be
done in less than a minute so i think its a no go idea but
adding such a function doesnt hurt either...
youre not flaming me now *

The auction houses weren't origional to WoW. In fact, a LOT of the stuff in WoW was taken from other games.
I Don't understand the point of this thread though, I'm pretty sure they're planning on adding both of those already. It'll just take a year because they have their staff perpetually working on expansions...
